Northwest ISD campuses earn U.S. News and World rankings

Several Northwest ISD elementary and middle schools have been recognized as top-performing campuses by U.S. News & World Report.

Beck, Cox, Roanoke, and Lakeview elementary schools were ranked among the top 1,000 in the Best Elementary Schools statewide rankings. Medlin and Tidwell middle schools also secured spots in the top 1,000 Best Middle Schools statewide list.

These rankings are based on students’ proficiency in math and reading/language arts, assessed through state assessments, while also considering socioeconomic demographics, according to the U.S. News and World Report website.

High school rankings are released in April.
