Northwest ISD hiring educators certified in specialized areas

With the new school year quickly approaching, Northwest ISD is continuing to hire educators to fill key teaching positions across all campus levels.
All vacancies are due to natural staff attrition. Several positions remain open in high-need areas such as pre-kindergarten, bilingual education and special education. Some career and technical education positions require candidates to have relevant industry experience, such as in health science.
To attract dedicated and qualified professionals, Northwest ISD offers a competitive starting salary of $63,750 for new teachers. The district also welcomes alternatively certified candidates who have secured their Statement of Eligibility.
