Northwest Reads seeking volunteers to read to students

Northwest ISD elementary schools are welcoming guest readers across the district from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, as part of Northwest Reads.

Participants will choose from a variety of books to read to pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students at one of the district's 22 elementary schools. The program provides community members with an opportunity to inspire district students to become lifelong readers.
