Sonny Nance Memorial Junior Livestock Show set for this weekend

Northwest ISD FFA students will take part in the district's annual Sonny Nance Memorial Junior Livestock Show on Saturday, January 10. All are welcome to attend this community event hosted by the Northwest ISD FFA Alumni & Parent Association at the Kelly W. Box Agricultural Science Center (1960 Texan Dr., Justin). 

Students from across the district — as young as third grade — will showcase their animals and agricultural projects. Students will showcase their livestock, agricultural engineering and floral projects while competing for prizes and receiving feedback from judges. The show also helps students prepare for the upcoming statewide competition season which begins with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo later this month.

A concession stand and local food truck vendor will be available on site. Judging begins at 8 a.m. and a buckle ceremony begins at 4 p.m.
