Student transfer application for 2025-2026 open through May 15

Families interested in requesting a campus transfer for their students for the 2025-2026 school year can do so until 5 p.m. Monday, May 15, through an online transfer form. All transfer requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, as each student’s request is unique.

Northwest ISD allows families to request transfers to another campus for the next school year during a window that opens annually on April 1. Transfers requests are subject to the capacity of a campus, as several schools are closed to transfers because they are near or over their designed student enrollment.

The district may grant a family’s transfer request for their student from one campus to another under specific circumstances, as outlined in board policy FDB.
