Three NISD swimmers set for UIL State Championships

Three Northwest ISD student-athletes will represent the district at the UIL Swimming and Diving State Championships in Austin. Swimmers from Eaton and Byron Nelson high schools have qualified for the state meet, including two who won Regional Championships.

The state meet, which is held at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, begins on Friday, February 20 and concludes on Saturday, February 21. More information on the state tournament, including full schedules, can be found on the UIL website.

Byron Nelson High School - Boys
Edmund Droege (Senior, 500-yard freestyle) - Regional Champion

Eaton High School - Girls
Gabi Aegerter (Senior, 500-yard freestyle) - Regional Champion

Carson Davis (Senior, 100-yard backstroke)
