Two NISD swimmers set for UIL State Championships

Two Northwest ISD student-athletes will represent the district at the UIL Swimming and Diving State Championships this weekend in Austin. Gabi Aegerter from Eaton High School will compete in the 500-yard freestyle, and Viktor Zheng from Byron Nelson High School will compete in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The state meet, which is held at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, begins on Friday, February 21 and concludes on Saturday, February 22. More information on the state tournament, including brackets for each weight class, can be found on the UIL website.
