"Willy Wonka Jr." performances take place Sept. 8-10
Northwest ISD’s middle school musical, “Willy Wonka Jr.,” will take place September 8 to 10, with four performances spanning the three days inside Byron Nelson High School’s performing arts center.
“Willy Wonka, Jr.” is a fun and exciting family-friendly musical, telling the classic story of Charlie Bucket and his quest for the Golden Ticket. The story also portrays the interesting people he meets throughout his adventures, including none other than Willy Wonka himself. The musical is a theatrical experience featuring over 45 students from the district’s six middle schools. The first performance of “Willy Wonka, Jr.” will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, followed by a 7 p.m. performance on Friday, September 9. On Saturday, September 10, two performances will take place – the first at 2 p.m., followed by a final performance at 7 p.m.
Tickets to the show are available online now. Please note that all attendees must reserve a ticket online. Tickets are $10 and Northwest ISD employees receive free admission after showing their employee IDs at the door. NISD Gold Card members also receive free admission when showing their cards.
Byron Nelson High School is located at 2775 Bobcat Blvd. in Trophy Club. The school’s performing arts center is located immediately to the right after entering the school lobby.
