Four Northwest ISD schools – Haslet, Hatfield, Prairie View and Roanoke elementary schools – will serve as hosts for flu clinics in early November.

Each clinic, operated by Passport Health and Staying Healthy Medical Services, will last from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Prairie View will host its clinic on Nov. 5, followed by Hatfield on Nov. 6, Haslet on Nov. 8 and Roanoke on Nov. 13. Insurance coverage will be accepted from Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and select United HealthCare PPO plans. Medicaid and CHIP can be accepted for children ages 18 and younger. Attendees should bring photocopies of an insurance card and the primary insured’s driver’s license.

Parents of children ages 18 and younger without any insurance may purchase vaccines for $10 per shot, with a four-vaccine limit per child. Those with insurance not directly accepted by the clinic can pay the cost of each vaccine through cash or check. A receipt will be provided to submit to insurance companies for reimbursement. An adult without an accepted insurance plan can receive a flu shot for $28 each.

The clinics are unable to accept HMO plans. To download a flyer with additional information, click here.
