Students who received free or reduce-priced meals during the 2018-19 school year automatically receive the same meal benefits for the first 30 days of the 2019-20 school year. Oct. 1 is the final day for parents and guardians to submit a new application for this school year.

After Oct. 1, only students who submitted a 2019-20 application and qualified for the program will receive free or reduced-cost school meals. If a child falls off the program once the grace period ends, all charges accrued are the responsibility of the parents or guardians.

Free and reduced-cost school meals are provided to students whose families meet certain income requirements. Students on the program may get one breakfast and once lunch combo meal daily for their free or reduced-meal price. Prices in the program don’t apply towards a la carte items (such as chips, certain drinks, packaged snacks and more).

Parents may apply for free and reduce-cost school meals online at this link.
