Several students-athletes from each of Northwest ISD’s three comprehensive high schools – Byron Nelson, Eaton and Northwest – took part in National Signing Day ceremonies on Wednesday, April 14, signifying their intent to play collegiate sports and continue their academic pursuits.

Today’s signing day marked the last of the 2020-2021 school year, while the first round of 2021-2022 college commits will prepare to signify their intent later in the fall.

Kaleth Polanco Pinto, a senior at V.R. Eaton High School, was recognized as the first athlete in district history to advance to the collegiate level in the sport of powerlifting.
