Q: How do I use the COVID Dashboard?
A:
Watch this video for a quick tutorial.
Q: How do I view data specific to my campus?
A: Click on the campus name below the chart or click in the checkbox in the list of school names.
Q: I received a Tier 1 letter from my school but the dashboard doesn’t show any active cases. Why is this?
A: There may be times that a school community receives a Tier 1 notification letter, but a positive case isn’t shown on the dashboard itself. This is because a person who tested positive was on a local campus — so we felt it was important to notify all families — but the individual with a test-confirmed case isn’t assigned to that school as an employee or student. For example, if a contracted service provider or an employee who travels to multiple campuses as part of their job tests positive, everyone on the campus would receive a Tier 1 letter, but they would only be reported (shown on the dashboard) at the employee’s permanent work location.
Q: My campus shows an active case, but I haven’t received a Tier 1 letter. Why is this?
A: We have received notification about some individuals who have tested positive for COVID, but they haven’t been on our campus since March. This could be because the individual is an enrolled student who is learning remotely (but still considered a student, so we are required to report their case), or the individual is an enrolled student or employee who hasn’t returned for In-Person Learning yet because they knew they were positive before Sept. 14.
Q: What dates are represented on this dashboard?
A: The dashboard reflects active test-confirmed cases and recovered cases beginning on Monday, Sept. 14. If an individual had COVID-19 in July and was recovered in August, they are not reflected on this dashboard.
Q: How often is the dashboard updated?
A: The dashboard will be updated at 6 p.m. each day.
