Northwest ISD offers four medical plans through TRS-ActiveCare so you can choose the plan that best meets your needs. The district also subscribes to an Employee Assistance Program for employees and members of their households and provides $15,000 life insurance to all employees at no additional cost.
Other voluntary benefits include dental, vision and disability, as well as supplemental accident and cancer plans. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) for medical and/or dependent care allow you to set aside pre-tax payroll deductions for out-of-pocket expenses for you and your family.
