Retiree Recognition Guidelines

Employee notifies Human Resources of their retirement and once retirement paperwork is completed with the Benefits Department, their name is sent to the Communications Department and they are included as an honoree at the Inspire Celebration in April.

If the Communications Department does not receive the name by the first week in March, there is a possibility that the retiree’s name and/or photo cannot be included in the video or program at the Inspire Celebration. However, they may still be recognized at the ceremony.

Once established, a schedule will be emailed to all retirees to let them know when the Communications Department will be at their campus/department to take their photo.
