This Fall, every elementary school will invite incoming pre-K and kindergarten students to prepare to go to school for the first time at Pre-K and Kinder Camp! The event will offer morning and afternoon sessions and provide students and families with the opportunity to meet teachers and school leaders.

Families with questions about pre-K or kindergarten are encouraged to reach out to their child’s future campus. Families who are unsure which school their child will attend can input their address at www.nisdtx.org/schoolfinder to find their student’s zoned school.

Middle Schools

Adams Middle School

August 6: 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Cub Camp: All incoming sixth-graders and students new to AMS are invited to attend. Meet the Principal will take place at 4:30 and 5 p.m. in the competition gym.

Barksdale Middle School

August 6: 4 to 5:30 p.m.
6th Grade Bronco Camp: All incoming sixth-graders are invited to attend. Students can walk the school with their families and pick up class schedules.

August 7: 4 to 5:30 p.m.
7th & 8th Grade Bronco Camp: Because BMS is a new school, we invite students in seventh and eighth grade to visit the school before the new school year begins to learn where their classes and activities will take place.

Chisholm Trail Middle School

August 6: 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Pup Camp: All incoming sixth-graders are invited to attend. From 4 to 4:45 p.m., a parent orientation will take place where families can pick up class schedules, walk the building and buy PTA spirit wear. August 5: 4 to 5:30 p.m.
