- Each test is allotted a maximum of 3 hours, when your student is complete, they may leave.
- Students are ONLY allowed to bring calculator (secondary only), Chromebook (4th-8th math) and a cell phone.
- NISD will provide ALL supplies. No student will bring anything into building except items stated above.
- You will receive a detail testing information letter/email after you have registered your student.
- Passing score for 1st through 5th grade is 90%.
- Passing score for 6th grade and above is 80%.
- Tests for math acceleration are only available on summer testing dates.
PLEASE NOTE: Northwest ISD will not offer examinations for credit on dates other than the scheduled dates. All tests are in English. Credit/Acceleration by examination cannot be used to raise a passing grade. Please discuss credit-by-exam opportunities with your student's teacher or guidance counselor, as acceleration may not be appropriate for all students.
